I’m usually very supportive of protests but I must admit that I find this annoying when we’re trying to keep a narcissistic crackpot and his coterie of fascist grifters out of power.
Not counter-protesting Jan 6 proved to be one of the smartest decisions in recent memory and I’d like to see more of that.
NYT reported this 6 years ago and it's largely been forgotten. Younger voters wouldn't know it. And she could deliver a line like, 'it's not hard to be successful when your family makes you a millionaire in the 6th grade, but we need to give every American real opportunities to get ahead.'
When tax cuts come up during the debate I'd like to see #KamalaHarris note that #Trump was earning the equivalent of $300k/ year as a toddler from his dad's tax fraud scheme and was a millionaire by age 8.
Kinda thing that'd go viral, cuts to the heart of his manufactured image and would drive him nuts.
Elon’s your dimwitted right-wing uncle who falls for any nonsense that crosses his FB page, but with billions of dollars and his own private social media company.
It’s amazing and sad that he’s convinced so many people that he’s some visionary genius.
‘Mind your own damn business!’ is the perfect response to all the right’s blather about trans people and abortion and having cats but not children and everything else.
The cult surrounding a white guy whose father’s tax fraud scheme made him a millionaire at age 8 insists that the daughter of two first generation immigrants couldn’t have gotten to where she is on merit.
Remember when we had that ludicrous, all-consuming moral panic about college kids protesting the slaughter in #Gaza and then the often violent suppression of free speech that followed was kind of a minor sidebar story and then everyone just moved on? #media
And now the richest wingnut in the world, who owns a huge propaganda outlet, is calling for the death of everyone who opposes a messaging bill that codifies fascist disinformation about voting.
I don’t know how this toothpaste ever gets put back in the tube.
