@thomasfuchs SMS two factor authentication is like putting a second Band-Aid on a haemorrhaging wound. Sure, it helps but it still doesn’t do much for a targeted attack.
U2F and strong unique passwords is the way the world needs to go to be safe online, you can’t just throw your hands up and give up if you’re like my parents and “too old” to understand this. Hackers, spammers and scammers don’t care if you’re too old.

Ok seriously though, SMS 2FA needs to die in a fire globally. Conpanies should charge money for it because it’s a means to drive change.
