@feditips So, an unlist boost will not appear in Explore etc., but people who follow me will see it in their home timeline? (Before using Tooot I didn't know you could change boosts visibility, but it's interesting to know!)

@feditips I use the @tooot app, which also makes a difference between 'public boost' and 'unlist boost'. But what this does to visibility… maybe the second option means (in practice) followers only?

@Gargron I'd strongly prefer an opt-*in*. With the fast growth of Mastodon the risk of misuse might be bigger, so switched off as standard seems safest.

@Gargron Could it be that 48.000 of them are from the Netherlands? I've never seen so many compatriots all at once ?

@feditips Can't the opposite be also true? That a smaller server is more vulnerable because there's less staff and a bigger chance of being left over to the whims of very few people?

I think I've noticed an error though: at one point you say "You cannot currently change the visibility of a post after you’ve published it, so make sure you choose the correct visibility before posting". I think however that this is possible via 'Delete & redraft'. Am I right in this?
