For all the great aspects of Mastodon, let's also be honest and mention its shortcomings: 1) no easy way to discover content 2) most instances have poor, default landing pages that explain nothing 3) no algorithm at all - chronological order is fine, but I'd want to also see the most popular or most relevant content for me (when I need it, not by default) #mastodon

Unfortunately it seems that nobody at the helm of Mastodon development cares about fixing any of these 3 basic issues. You know what to do. If you care about them too, Boost.

@dave I don't think so. Checkmarks are for people with very popular accounts so far so that should be a drop in the ocean for them

I'll have a contrarian view about Twitter - while we are mostly active on Mastodon. I don't think you will see Twitter getting much worse. And in any case, there's nothing wrong in using multiple social networks at the same time.

Keep your options open.

@linuxgamingcentral 1080p on a small handheld is overkill. The larger battery will not last much longer than the Deck because you need more energy for a screen with more pixels, and the GPU will have to do more work which will result in more consumption as well. I also see that these handhelds fail to incorporate trackpads, which makes them useless for mouse-based games. Not a Deck replacement in any way.
