Did you know more often than not if you're a white service provider (I do consumer IT) in an role that can sometimes involve receiving tips, if you call in a nicey-nice brand of casual racist they usually give you a guilt tip at the end? They don't describe that's what made them feel obliged to, but they panic inside and are typically also money-as-influence oriented presumably from poisonous tabloids and think on their feet. 1/2

They know deep down they're deplorable and cruel twats though and that you see right through their politeness. Put it in a White Tears jar towards mutual aid or anti-racism groups, because that money isn't for you x

1) In what way are you superior* to this project that you can dictate to them what they can and can't do to manage *their own social spaces* and select who they are unsafe to share it with (eg: demonstrably racist people)?

@TheGentleKlingon also, if you've already accidentally connected to WiFi during setup and want to use the bypassnro trick, use that command line to open Device Manager and disable the WiFi adapter so the "I don't have internet" button shows again

Just handed off a bunch of laptop refurb donations to a local homeless charity and put the world to rights with my guy there. It's a real mess out there, isn't it

Windows 10 ending support has meant I have been given more laptops to refurbish and put Linux on to send out to charity at least. Everyone can do their part x

What's that? Add safety features like federated and semi-automated blocklists between trusted instances to lighten and democratise the moderation work between smaller instances?
