Google has been hit by an antitrust lawsuit in Europe from publishers complaining that they can’t opt out of AI overviews without also opting out of showing up in Google Search.

I’m sympathetic to the publishers complaints but this will make the user experience worse if sites can opt out of various search features.

My favorite thing about LinkedIn is people who are clearly terrible about their jobs, bragging about how bad they are at it while thinking they are dropping knowledge bombs.

This article argues that “AI fluency” will be a core attribute evaluated during hiring within five years.

I find it extremely unlikely that prompt engineering or similar tasks will be a skill hiring managers treat as core. If that happens then AI tools would have failed. It’s like Googling as a core job skill.
