Commentary on Fetishized Fascism where the only voices heard are those at the apex of the racial hierarchy.

There is no critical self-reflection in the commentary on how the manga and anime communities are deeply racist and anti-Black in specific.

Long before the contemporary fixation on Nazism, Asian societies (like Europeans) have for millennia, been obsessed with monarchy, militarism, racial purity, racial hierarchy, colorism and to this day, with no representation of dark-skinned Asian people, and frequent contempt for people of African descent.

I'll be 68 in a few weeks, and along with racialization, homophobia, transphobia, misogynoir, neoliberalism common to those of my generation — there is the internalized ageism among people my age fused with the normalized ageism of the young.

The results are inaccessible healthcare and senior services, that make the typical isolation even worse.

Today was two Karen day, like male and female bookends they were triggered by my riding a bike they "felt" was: A) Odd for a Black person to be riding; (B) Too expensive for a Black person to be riding, so maybe I'd stolen it?; and (C)
needed to tell me they own a much nicer and more expensive one, at which point I said my food is getting cold I have to leave.

These are my neighbors, and now that Trump has won, will be even more insufferable.

The US doesn't have a political Left.

Democrats only appear left relative to Republicans, and both abandoned any sense of humility and honest concern for the working-class poor.

Both parties treat common folk as chess pieces they can move around the board while pandering to the billionaires interests, and their political and corporate proxies who refuse to protect the interests of constituents allowing corporate monopolies to raise prices, pocketing obscenely greater profits, while paying lower wages than any generation before.

Trump strategically appealed to the most base fears and motives, stoking up grievance and rage, winding people up, and tossing out the red meat, scape goats with no defence for public sacrifice.

I'd like to say how shocked and disappointed I am at the outcome of the presidential election, but this is the true face of America, the one I've known all my life. An America people denied, insulted, attacked me, called me mentally ill and delusional, including when I said Trump would be elected in 2016.

You cannot hide from the truth anymore, America.

Whiteness and white voices so dominate the YouTube algorithm, that when I log out, turn on VPN, search for black trans women, MtF, or M2F ― a majority of results will still be young, white trans women, conservative, conventionally attractive by patriarchal norms, and heternormative on the rare occasion thy mention Trans BIPOC, it’s only to further their own self-interest just like Cis white feminist have been doing the past 200+ years. #Trans

Last night I rode my bike a couple of miles to the grocery. Halfway there I noticed a young college age white girl following me. At a light I turned to look at her and she bolted, turned around and rode off.

When I came out of the grocery the same girl rode up and apparently assumed I didn't recognize her.

White people who act that crazy have almost gotten me killed before, so I smiled, spoke politely, and let her play out her little Karen drama of being so sly and superior as she politely insulted me.

This kind of thing has become routine here in the #SFBA with it mostly being women, though twice this year I've had white men follow and interrogate me, photographing my registration number, absolutely certain my bike must be stolen.

I've searched high and low across these 50 states and sadly the best I've been able to do minding my own damn business is to trigger people enough to act crazy but not enough to get murdered, at least so far.

My normal on social media and in real life.

There is a word for people who don't like people they don't know — based on projected biases, pre-judgment, prejudice, the word is prejudice.

Note the screen capture below as a response on the Berkeley, CA Reddit, where I just asked where to find other progressive minded people over 65.

That resulted in repeated attacks with no intervention by mods.

Moving on.
In the mind of this person who doesn't know me, it can't be that I face anti-Blackness, constant Ageism, Misogynoir, Homophobia, and anti-Trans bigotry and violence.

No instead, they say I must be "an unlikeable person that others would simply rather not engage with, let alone cohabitate with."

But no explanation or evidence to support this attack on my character.

Then there is the ageist part of their comment:
"you refer to yourself as an “iconoclast”. People with a few years left to enjoy life don’t have time for this kind of self-indulgent nonsense lol"

I spent a large part of my childhood in a small Southwestern Ohio town where Black folks were raised on Black family farms and often spent weekends and holidays on the farm with their "Country Cousins".

My cousin Vernon's family able to keep their farm, but almost all the families I knew lost theirs, and white folks laughed in their faces, openly claimed it was because Black Farmers were lazy, didn't know how to run a farm, and were bad at business.
