@skye I'm glad you posted about what kinda boats orcas actually hit & they aren't billionaire owned ones. Actually, been talking to longtime whales specific scientists in my area of BC/PNW & none of us are very happy about how orcas are injuring themselves to death by hitting boats with their bodies. I am actually very worried because behaviour is abnormal & it has caused many whale deaths & whale disabilities - that media doesn't report about.

How I learned to stand up for myself:

No one stood up for me, when necessary & I got sick & tired of waiting for others to step up, on my behalf. I learned to stop waiting for others. I learned - I can & am, my best personal, reliable cheerleader! I learned that being my own best supporter, was empowerment, in full living & self loving actions!

I could've kept waiting, while withering away OR I could choose to STOP waiting on others & forge my own way. I chose to forge forward & stop waiting.

Life, still happens, when you choose to wait & put your life on personal choice holds.

I'm trying to add back past connections from the mastodon.social & instances that I'd lost when blocking the whole instances recently. I didn't know why I couldn't add back a lot of folks who I'd enjoyed engaging with for months until today because I forgot blocking an instance removes all connections from it.

I removed 2 instance blocks & now slowly adding my fave folks from huge instances back.

I'll block bigoted/problematic folks on individual basis from that instance instead.

I find it both hilarious & shitty that the only question any #Saanich councillor had when seeing my multiple vids of their #antimasker #police was - How many people have seen these videos?

That confirms for me, my family & friends here that their council doesn't give a shit about their cops violating our #HumanRights but they're concerned about #BadPR 👎

I not only submitted an appeal, I emailed Matt too. No response yet. I asked for link to download my data as well. I also fwded a few emails I sent recently, asking for admin help - which I never got any responses on & told them, it is why I started tagging them to try to get a response to my multiple help request emails.

Prior alleged violation email request for clarification was never responded to either.
