Yesterday afternoon one of my cats was scratching on a log in our back yard, turns out he had cornered a moth!

He pulled it out to path where I took it from him for a photo, then let it out where it flew away. It looked a bit ragged but I don't know how much was from Helix or on purpose, but it seemed to fly OK.

No idea what kind of moth it was, but it was large and pretty! #moth #cat

@HeavenlyPossum A slight tangent but it's interesting how misunderstood tax brackets are, at least how they work here in the uk (and back in NZ it was the same).

People near a tax bracket complain that their next payrise would cause them to take less money home after tax, not understanding the new tax is only on money in that bracket. I sometimes wonder if it was structured in a way to confuse more people into shouting down taxes.

@elk Apologies if you are aware, but the publish/reply/compose area character count doesn't include the content warning characters. So when publishing at max content length with a warning, it is blocked/rejected.
