#cuisine bees vs worms

I've tried the fried bee larvae 蜂の子(hachinoko) when I lived in Nagano, and also on trips to Yunnan, where 油炸蜂蛹 are lightly fried. they look like worms. but I'm hoping that I won't actually be eating worms...
