I'm not sure people understand what it means to shut up the CDC et al.

The FDA alerts docs and hospitals when heart and lung machines are exploding *while in use* during bypass surgery.

They notify the medical community when patterns of fungal infections show that equipment isn't being cleaned properly.

When lettuce/carrots are killing people, they notify the public.

Every single thing they do saves American lives.

DAILY.

So Illinois banned assault weapons and all the sheriffs in my area immediately put out statements that they will not enforce it.

What about all those people in HIghland Park??

These weapons are so often purchased legally and used illegally.

If shop owners stop selling them and it saves even one life, it's worthwhile.
