The conman bait and switch trick in action:
They want you angry over pronoun change
when we NEED to focus on climate change

Canada is the USA's largest trading partner. When Trump tried tariffs on our goods as a negotiation tactic during the NAFTA negotiations, Canada responded by putting tariffs on American goods. It hurt the USA more than us.

USA's inflation will go up quickly with Trump's dumb 10% tariff idea. Trading partners around the world will put tariffs on American goods in retaliation as well. It will cause the USA to spiral into a recession.

It's a massively stupid idea. China won't play nice like us.

The world must firmly stand with Ukraine.

The world must continue reducing fossil fuel use and protect the environment. Our survival depends on it.

The world must unequivocally support equality and safety for women.

We have one less ally in the good fight right now, but the good fight is far from over.

Don't despair. This too shall pass.

110 years ago, a soldier named Harry Colebourn brought his pet bear with him to where he was stationed in England.

Harry named the little cub “Winnipeg” after his hometown.

Harry received news that he would be shipped to France, so he made arrangements to keep "Winnie" in the London Zoo.

Winnie captured the hearts A.A. Milne and his son Christopher Robin. Christopher added “Pooh” to Winnie’s name after his pet swan named Pooh.

Winnie the Pooh was published in 1926.

Did you know that Jimmy Carter heroically saved Canada from a nuclear meltdown when he was a naval officer?

It's true!

The world’s first nuclear reactor meltdown occurred in the Ottawa Valley — and a young U.S. naval officer was brought in to contain the disaster — 72 years ago.

Leading a team of two dozen men, 28-year old Lieutenant Carter had himself lowered into the damaged reactor.

Today is Canada's National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

150,000+ Indigenous children suffered great harm at residential schools in Canada.

Residential schools were established with the purpose of erasing Indigenous cultures, spirituality, and languages.

Students lived in substandard conditions and endured physical, emotional, and sometimes sexual, abuse. One in twenty-five Indigenous children died while attending residential schools.
