@tokyo_0 It might be, Amazon does employ non-native speakers of English and other languages to do CS and you can get some highly creative word use as a result.

Now it's the other way, I'm not out and about and so I don't see people rushing around for whatever holiday is coming.

I agree. Perhaps time is entirely a construct without meaning.
