My mask smells like Whataburger.

Well, I've started packing for the trip back to Seattle. I've done everything I wanted to. And most importantly, done everything I needed to with my parents.

For the first time in a long time, I feel I'm going home with nothing left for me to do when I come back. And I will be back. April I'm hoping.

Dear Pacific Northwest,

After three weeks in Texas, I'm noticing a distinct lack of cream gravy, forty-four ounce drinks, Texas toast and guacamole enhancements in your drive-through restaurants. Please rectify this.

I found the little Gay District next to San Antonio College and I'm so happy cause it means I can sit down somewhere and have dinner without worrying about anyone but TERFs. I'm leaving town on Sunday, but at least when I come back in April I have a safe place to go.

@Mondobizarrro - I'm not a fan of thousand islands dressing on burgers so In N Out is pretty far down my list.

@Mondobizarrro , I prefer Whataburger over everything. Five Guys is good, but not Whataburger or In N Out good.

Mostly it's just messy.

@Mondobizarrro - that's like saying so I like tangerines or mandarins better. In-N-Out is a thousand islands night and Whataburger is a Texas mustard burger. Which is better depends on your tastes.

For those of you wanting to see the different Dairy Queen menu in Texas. I was craving pretzel breadsticks, but they didn't have them here. But they had steak fingers, so I didn't go away disappointed.

I don't know if this is a San Antonio thing, or a Texas thing, but my goodness, there are a LOT of personal injury commercials on TV out here.

Who has two thumbs and likely the flu? THIS GAL.

Thankfully when I got my Covid shot I got the flu shot as well, so I just feel really wierd instead of really sick.

But since I've had to cancel a lot of plans, and the VPN connection is still holding, I'm staring here an extra week.
