    The #GiffordPinchot #NationalForest was another experience I'll never forget. There were beautiful rivers and mountains, as well as areas where the road was hemmed in by tall trees. #cycling #bicycle #bicycletouring

    Went out on my usual loop to nowhere and found the smell of #fire everywhere, with the #smoke thickening as I headed south. I asked someone walking down the sidewalk if there was a fire, and they said it was a gnarly one on Aurora. It was quite the sight when I came across it!

    The mural says "our house is on fire" and there's a business adjacent to this vacant building called the Fireside Cafe. Spooky! #cycling #bicycle #seabikes #seattle

    For their #Disruptor , @rodbikes has worked with #Browning to create a system similar to the old #Suntour BEAST, except on the rear gear cluster rather than on the crankset. There are hinged gates on every cog that move the chain, rather than a #derailleur pushing the chain back and forth. All that's needed is a chain tensioner that's able to follow the chain! #cycling #bicycle

    Went back to an “MP3 player” because my phone’s Bluetooth output keeps dropping when it’s jostled, and this was significantly cheaper and a lesser hassle than either getting my phone repaired or replaced. #mp3player #mp3

    I'd always wanted to see the Oregon #Zoo, and our trip over Memorial Day weekend was the perfect time to do it!

    Shame the railroad wasn't running. Maybe next time.

    When I went down to head over to my parents' place on my #motorcycle, I discovered that someone had torched my motorcycle's front wheel lock, broke off the ignition cover, and took enough of the ignition system so that it would no longer start. The ignition cover and the flare used to torch my motorcycle were both sitting on a curb near the elevators on the same floor of the parking garage.

    This happened at some point since last Sunday (5/2), when I last rode my motorcycle.
