@badnetmask not really. We pull containers from ghcr and I don't want to set up a caching proxy or something. NAT is easier and requires less maintenance. Load balancing and redundancy is done via BGP or IPv6 RAs.

We use IPv6 in our internal fabric network as well as our out of band network. We want to hide our devices' IPs to the outside. Also, NAT helps to build a redundant firewall, as the packets, that come back, have the IP address of the correct firewall as their destination address. -
