I think it was Critcrab or another in the sphere covering it that brought up the retroactive profit sharing and yes it is insane and I thought the same thing that there is no way it could be legal but with the leak today it seems like they actively fucking hate their customers, are angry as fuck that D&D is such a small money maker for them, and will force absolute control down the throats of the entire fanbase.
I've been hearing crazy shit now for the past week. I know they want to implement profit sharing and royalties for homebrew anything going forward with their new OGL. One of the most bizarre claims was that they wanted to try and retroactively apply it so if you made some product that sold well under the original agreement the amended one would try and force you to pay a percentage of profits. Absolute batshit lunacy if true.
