In my home of many years, a local minor celebrity blogger had a phrase to which I return pretty much every day recently, Fuck you, you fucking fuck mook. FYYFFM. So endlessly appropriate these days.

It's probably hard to believe now, but, in the early 1970s, Dulles Airport was a vast, empty, sunlit hall. It was beautiful and calm.

@Mrfunkedude My family is preparing to move and as part of that, I've been sorting and organizing old photos and art made by my now-adult children. There are so many drawings of what look like mermaids (but are the way young children sometimes draw people) and other characters expressing love for people, animals, and the earth that I have to smile remembering those sunshiney days. What a wonderful capacity for love little humans have.
