I like running my own Mastodon instance, but I am really looking forward to @mastohost being open to signups again so I can pay for a small (moon) server there instead of running this instance on an old MacMini in my basement.

@taylorlorenz I read that as socioeconomicly disadvantaged folks deserve to have as much of a voice as anyone else, but I’m probably wearing rose colored glasses.
