people rag on amazon for throwing around their monopolistic weight in the retail industry and for turning a blind eye to rampant counterfeits, but then they turn around and bless us with ads at absolutely no cost to us.

I love how browser manufacturers have elaborate and complicated systems designed to get the latest versions out ASAP given their complexity and how frequently they are targeted for extremely scary vulnerabilities.

And then the rest of the industry embeds them into almost every piece of modern desktop software and only updates them when they can be bothered to get around to it.

my favorite new iOS 17 feature is one nobody has mentioned anywhere. under:

Accessibility > Touch > Haptic Touch > Touch Duration

you can set the Touch Duration to fast, to make it recognize long presses in less time. huge improvement.
