Like, i get that trauma lasts a long time and the good stuff is maybe easy to forget?? so maybe it's just like that. And my beloved mutual @/pompeyspuppygirl made a post about zir clout chasing behavior, which is pretty shitty behavior if it's true (and if we're canceling someone it had better be pretty severe). anyways now that zie's gone pompeyspuppygirl said it was okay to make this post (again, thanks ppg everyone go follow her --really everyone in this whole drama is worth a follow) ANYways yeah zie was my mutual and like, reblogged a lot my smaller posts. (that isn't to discredit what my mutual pompeyspuppygirl is saying about zie clout chasing ofc). AND idk zie was always reblogging art from new and undiscovered artists and reblogging donation posts (which if you don't know is really bad if you're trying to clout chase...) (again, though, ppg is my mutual i believe her.) and like, remember on valentines day i tried to blaze zir posts and zie told me to stop because zie didn't want the posts to go viral? (but again ppg is my mutual and has a lot of proof in the Google doc I'm not trying to disprove that I'm just saying what else I know) Idk, like i feel like a lot of people loved zir's blog a while back, bc like zie DID make some good posts?? So idk why everybody's acting like they aren't even a little bit sad.,. like ngl this feels like maybe all the reasonable people left

Possibly the most horrifying thing that has ever happened to me occurred today. So I’m in a creative writing class at university right now and we had to print out twenty-five copies of our first, one page assignment to distribute to the class. I had to print mine at the computer lab as I don’t have a printer, but here are the three crucial facts that made this the worst mistake of my life. 1. Sometimes, when you log into Google on Chrome, it activates all of your extensions, even ones you’ve deactivated. 2. In high school, my friends and I got really into Ponify (a words replacing chrome extension) and switched the preferences so we could read political articles and have congress get into a “rousing snow ball fight” and the like. 3. Ponify reverted to its original My Little Pony lingo when opened on a new computer’s chrome.

2. So when I distributed my twenty-five copies of this I noticed the word “everypony”, my heart seized up and dropped into my stomach, and with my imminent death approaching, I began furiously correcting all twenty-five of them. My teacher, confusedly, agreed to let me correct them as I was too infuriated and ashamed to say my mistake aloud. I just realized, however, that the line “as she watched the binding fall away in her hand” was changed to “as she watched the binding fall away in her hoof”. Photo of the above words appearing in said assignment. And I just had to send this email: Hi Cathy I'm worried the typos in my paper will be distracting. In a strange twist of events the computer I printed it from in the computer lab had a chrome extension that replaces words in the browser with horse related words and I don't think I caught all of them. And basically I'm ready for death how was your day

1. talisidekick: A while back my pharmacist saw my deadname on my profile and accidentially called it out, he corrected and deleted my deadname from the system so only my preferred name shows up now. There was a crowd of people behind me, so as he hands over the pills he apologized, in equal tone and volume as when he called my deadname and lied saying it's been a long day and he didn't mean to call out -his own- name. I quietly told him it was fine and he didn't need to do that for my sake. His response: "No, it's my name now." I went to the pharmacist yesterday, his nametag is my deadname. He informed me he's immigrating and in the process he's changed his first name to my deadname to have an English sounding name. That's why he's now able to get a reprint of his nametag to be my deadname. And repeated, with the intense seriousness of someone who is going to die on this hill: "It's mine now. Not yours. I'm taking." His tone indicated that decision is final. Bro literally deadnamed me once, and has committed to flat out stealing my deadname. It's his now. Legally. Officially. I over heard his co-workers call him by the name. a queer kettle of fish: apparently he's emigrating from the fae kingdom

If I were president of Doctor Who, I'd make a Simpsons episode and I'm not joking Doctor Who and his bestie of the week arrive in a perfectly normal, if particularly eventful, small town in modern day earth, full of quirky characters who have all been stuck in time for close to 40 years. They aren't trapped in the 80s, though, time keeps moving forward, but the people don't. They're aware of the passage of time, but not of their static nature. Their young son has celebrated 35 Christmases and 35 tenth birthdays and he remembers all of them, he just hasn't put together that this is too many for someone who would, if pressed, claim to have been born in 2014. Their daughter remembers being 8 in 2004, in 1998, in 1989, but she's sure she was born in 2016. The 44-year-old school principal has PTSD flashbacks from a war that should've been over five years before he was born. The parents are in their late 30s but their worn, elderly voices tell a very different story. What's causing this? Is it ethical for the doctor to make the residents aware of their condition, or to fix it, knowing Grandpa might crumble to dust if he does the math on his age? Should a state of affairs be allowed to persist like this for so long?

1. i paint. and because someone told me that another student wanted to get his portrait done i approached this man who i have barely exchanged two sentences before and said "i heard you want to get painted. i'll do it for 500" and it took as two very confusing and exparating minutes of haggling about the price and outlining the logistics of said painting during which i said sentences like "you can be naked if you want but that would be extra" and "what do you mean why would you pay me. i do all the work?" while he got increasingly more flushed until i put my foot down and said "well if you want to be painted baroque style that's gonna cost some money" and he said "oh my god PAINTED. that makes a lot more sense." turns out he misheard me and thought a stranger. a random person. came up to him in the middle of the lecture hall in front of god and everyone and loudly and confidently said "i heard you want get pegged." and then got mad at his refusal to pay half a grand for it. can you fucking imagine
