REALLY not a fan of Viki both for their cynical exploitation of volunteer fansubbers to pad their own profit margins and for the quite extraordinary lengths to which they take geoblocking, BUT this was still mildly amusing

@liztai "Just don't like the leads lol." A perfectly valid reason to drop. I'm firmly in the "Dramas are entertainment, if they don't entertain me, bye bye" camp. No such thing as must watch imo. imo.

@liztai @AnnaAnthro Sorry(ish) for butting in, but if I may suggest something devoid of romance and quite different from the genres you've mentioned, the always excellent Lee Bo Young really shone for me in #Agency. A genuinely FL-centric Drama in which she showed in every episode that she really did "need a man like a fish needs a bicycle"

@liztai Please forgive the intrusion, but where do you find recaps these days? Ten years ago, finding recaps of #KDramas and #CDramas was easy and saved me so much wasted time (especially with Dramas like "Love Through a Millennium", which was filmed in real time 🙄), but now I don't know where to look

An interesting difference between #JDrama and #KDrama fandom. Every.Single.Time I jwatch a K-actor's Insta live, there are ALWAYS commenters saying stuff like "Speak English" - no "please", and no acknowledgement that the celeb has the absolute right to use their L1.
I've been watching a #JDrama actor's Insta live for the last 10 minutes, and it's all Japanese. I don't speak or read Japanese but I love that J actors aren't hassled by entitled fans demanding they speak English

It's an interesting paradox you have created for yourself - insisting that only the writer's perspective is the correct one UNLESS their perspective is that theirs is NOT the only perspective.

In that case, you are saying that you are right and they are wrong, which contradicts your assertion that theirs is the only correct pov.
