Loops Admins: Did you know you can easily configure database backups that get stored to a separate S3 compatible disk as private zips with optional archive passwords that also get purged so you only keep the most X recent backups, with the limit being up to you?

All you need to do is configure the S3 credentials, and set `LOOPS_BACKUPS_ENABLED=true` in .env.

You will soon be able to repost videos!

A repost is similar to a Mastodon boost, where it's delivered to your followers, and you can see reposted videos from accounts you follow in the following feed, along with reposts appearing in a new profile tab.

This will roll out soon to the webUI and later to the mobile apps.

Later this summer we will ship an update allowing you to see less reposts from accounts you follow, without having to unfollow, mute or block them.
