I just watched the Veritasium story about the XZ backdoor.

The situation was: Jia Tan, the attacker, had gained maintainership of XZ, and tried to get his backdoored version into major Linux distributions. There was a small bug in the backdoor code, which was found when maintainers ran additional checkers.

Oh great, the @nextcloud Android app stopped working again. Not only are auto uploads apparently broken again, now it won't even remember what I've uploaded manually, and all notifications that were in the "upload" tab now have a date of 1969.

I'm seriously fed up with how often this app keeps breaking after an update in various new ways. If F-Droid had a rating function, I would rate it 0 stars.

I have awoken.
