@bgates I'd like to propose the X-Men animated series theme song, or Guile's theme (which, as they say, goes with anything) as contenders.

I've been getting Mastodon notification beeps every 5-10 seconds for a solid 8 hours, because of my last post (https://fosstodon.org/@north/111057335768073441).

The level of traction / interaction it's gotten has been absolutely wild. I didn't expect it to reach even 1% of what it's become (I'd have felt extremely accomplished if even 20 people had favorited it -- at the moment, we're well over 1,000 favorites and 1,000 boosts).

I'll go through notifications after some calm and follow interesting people, I promise!

#Bluesky continues to be entirely non-responsive to the numerous security vulnerabilities I've reported to them, so I spent the evening writing up a nice README and a framework with exploit modules, and just made it all public.

@mhoye I ran across a comprehensive video game ROM site a couple months ago that suggested using rsync to copy stuff en masse and keep it up to date. I was thoroughly impressed.
