The Linux Foundation 2023 Annual Report is the last (of four) I produced before my departure (and that of others) on December 1 after almost four years with the organization. It was released today. @allenstenhaus@kevin@Mrfunkedude sure, I get that, but I mostly post about technology and food. I don't worry about the vegans when I post burger pictures or the hardcore Free Software or die folks when I write about Apple or Microsoft, though.
@allenstenhaus@kevin@Mrfunkedude I very rarely use them. Anything can be perceived as being triggering even the most innocuous — dietary habits, etc. I’m not going to worry about every possible permutation of who is going to take issue with my content.
So if Alexa is a colossal failure and is going to lose $10B next year, does that mean all my voice-controlled thingamabobs are gonna stop working and I have to go back to dumb switches, thus requiring my wife to yell at me instead of a cloud-based AI
