It's looking like three of the six seats seats on the Beaverton city council will be held by people who are active members of the local bike community.

What a terrible time to have a brain that expects things to make sense...

@ascentale @Anibyl @bikenite A5. You never throw away parts.
Last year I helped my dad replace the bookshelves in the den that he built before I was born. He still had some of the hardware from the original build, and we were able to use it in the new build - almost forty years later.

I know it's popular in #3dprinting design theory to do print-in-place, where the entire component is printed in one shot. But I think there's value in adopting construction techniques from other medium, like joinery (woodworking). Interlocking tongue and groove slots and a double dovetail can secure a clamshell design without fasteners or adhesive.

Last year, dissatisfied with the low quality of commercially available bike wheel lights, I set out to make my own.
Several kilograms of filament and several meters of LED strips later, I had a solution that worked. Bright, eye catching wheel lights that I only had to charge once a week.
I toyed with the idea of starting a small business to sell them online, but there were too many unknowns.
So I released them open source: https://www.instructables.com/DIY-3D-Printed-Rechargeable-Bike-Wheel-Lights/
Ride brightly, my friends.

@faithisleaping due to budget cuts, there's now only one gender, and you all have to take turns using it.

I'm just a boy, standing in front of the internet, trying to find a page that tells me location of the intermittent wiper relay in a 2010 Honda Fit, that isn't AI slop.
I. WANT. THE. OLD. INTERNET. BACK.
Edit: There isn't one.
