@prettygood Facts. I worked for a managed service provider a while back and they would not let us use Let's Encrypt (it was scary voodoo to them), so I had to do everything manually. It was awful. Also DAMN, those things are expensive.

@prettygood lol - taking care of the horribly overgrown everything before the neighbors call a code violation on me. Again. The weather last month (last TWO months) was an unholy combination of tons of rain mixed with really warm weather, so all of the greenery exploded. Looked like a dang jungle. I had a friendly literally bring over a machete to help with it.
Got lots of blackberries and other things that just love to grow AND put on repeat performances after you remove them, too.

@prettygood Never dealt with floods like that, but I’ve been adjacent to them. Been clipped by a cat 4 hurricaine, too, so I get what you mean - you can’t fully convey how powerless you feel when things like that roll through. Though using the Artax example shot straight to my heart (I haven’t seen that movie in probably 30 years and that scene still messes me up when I think about it).

@prettygood Compiling source for Wine to see if I can point a custom launcher for Final Fantasy XIV at them to see if that fixes a virtual memory problem the game is having for me on a Bazzite gaming rig.... So basically going out of my way to fix a ton of self-inflicted problems. Technically paying mortgage, too.

Oh, and I got to see my daughter do a dog show today - that was also nice to see because she has improved so much. 👍
