@padraig thanks for that. Interesting conundrum for my use - I was hoping to have my cake and eat it. Running with Mastodon and accessing Threads without the tracking. Oh well.

Has anyone got any ideas of how Mastodon and Threads will work together in the future. I have an account on both, and find myself attracted to Threads due to the sheer number of interesting users. But I hate creepy corporate surveillance. Will I be able to access Threads user base from Mastodon and ditch my Threads account?

@Shanemuk cool. Did you have to do anything over and above what's in the help? Or just wait it out? I raised it as an issue with @mastodonie as I couldn't get it to work and @dregin didn't see anything amiss in admin.
