It’s where one looks at regional temperature maps and picks a flight to an area that promises to be cooler for a while; then returns. Because one can.

@evan @timbray I think we’re in agreement about a core aspect: what’s the value proposition? Usage statistics don’t convince me with that regard. A significant number of people, worldwide, happily devour conspiracy theories after all.

Listening to the recent Hard Fork with @caseynewton, it struck me that by providing AI Summaries, Google Search is no longer a search engine but a publishing operation. Meaning Google is a publisher; of plagiarized content. Can someone explain how that is legal and in which way Fair Use applies to publishing plagiarized content on a global scale?
