Listening to the recent Hard Fork with @caseynewton, it struck me that by providing AI Summaries, Google Search is no longer a search engine but a publishing operation. Meaning Google is a publisher; of plagiarized content. Can someone explain how that is legal and in which way Fair Use applies to publishing plagiarized content on a global scale?
