So-called allies have always been seen as useful idiots rather than friends, there has been a cultural invasion raging since the '40s, see the USAid for example, and how much culture Hollywood exported, how copyright laws were imposed on Countries with a more traditional sharing culture, it's a long list. Now that they're twisting the arm of allies illusion is shattering
