@dalias @Daojoan again you intentionally misrepresent my argument.
I challenge you to find one single statement I've made that would lead a rational person to believe I'm defending Nazis.

@dalias @Daojoan Alright, it's obvious you don't wish to engage in a socratic dialogue here and only wish to hammer your point home at any cost.
The issue of authoritarianism transcends party lines.
Have fun with your conspiratorial Nazi panic.
Also if you believe that all Republicans are Nazis, you're every bit as naive as the people who bought into McCarthyism.
@dalias @Daojoan I feel like you're intentionally misrepresenting my argument, I don't disagree with the fact that there are Nazis being donated to, I'm sure there are.
I disagree with the disingenuous use of the term Nazi here when the vast vast majority of silicon valley is left wing.
It implies that the majority if not all donations are going to Nazis when in fact the vast majority of money flowing in big tech is going to left wing causes.
@dalias @Daojoan Nowhere did I refute their claim, I simply said it's reductive to just say Nazis. The issue is far more nuanced than just "Red V Blue" or "Nazis V Commies".
Anyone slightly right of center who sees a post like this is just going to roll their eyes and keep scrolling instead of actually engaging.
So you want a list of everyone big tech companies have donated to that isn't affiliated with the national socialist movement? Right I'll get on that ASAP. 🙄
@Daojoan Agreed for the most part, but unless we're talking about literal Nazis (like the ones imported into every level of government and intelligence by Operation Paperclip), it seems rather reductive to just say Nazis.
I'm just here to see if there's such a thing as libre && gratis.
