Tell me about it!

@maique 😆 And I refuse to change it! It's what I did many, many years ago. The Outstanding Vignette will remain!
@quaff Thank you for all the work and expertise!
@quaff Safety first!
You have mad skills keeping on top of all those servers, software updates, databases, queues, caching, firewalls, and all the other stuff that I have no idea about!

Follow Jasper. He takes good photos. And he’s got a sense of humor I like.
@binarydigit Thank you very much, B! That gives me a good start. It shouldn't be this hard, but I've never been good at visualizing design or colors.
One last post, really.
I'm tired of my color palette on my Cliff538 blog. I want to change the whole color scheme, but I don't even know where to begin. How does one even approach this? I'm not a designer in any way, shape, or form, and I don't know what colors work well together until I actually see them.
I have my CSS all neat and tidy for global changes (I think… hasn't been tested yet). I just want complementary colors that are web-safe and look good.
Ideas?

My buddy in Nova Scotia sent me this 😆
@binarydigit The Flightaware Misery Map can be helpful.

Looks pretty stable out there. Safe flying!
@binarydigit Oh, good, thank you! I'll see if I can figure it out. I'd love to have that little happy creature hopping around on my pages.
Your website is awesome, by the way.
I'm off to post my February “The Good Stuff - A smattering of useful things I've come across this month.” Two months down, 10 more to go!
@binarydigit I love, love, love, 🧡 🐥 the little bird hopping around on the bottom of your page. I’m with ya on weak notes. I’m posting a monthly update and struggling with that 😂.

All credit to @hiro for finding this one. I found out about it because I’m a subscriber to his amazing weekly email filled with goodies. You can subscribe here:
Really, just click the link and go subscribe 🤠
This is really fun to play with. Build high-detail map posters from OpenStreetMap data with curated palettes, custom typography, and print-ready output.
I took my first steps on planet Earth here:
@quaff I thought this needed wider attention, its really fun. The next step in this is 3D printing topo maps of places. There is online software for that as well.
@binarydigit Here's to clearing skies and a warm wind! (may it come soon)
First time ever, but, I’m thinking the same thing. https://www.threads.com/@stalman/post/DOpDs2fEhVk

Photographer at heart, but I make my living flying airplanes. I've been a commercial fisherman, aircraft mechanic, helicopter pilot, and a few other things not so interesting...
