@Fragglemuppet@fandom.ink yes! This is your space and you can post whatever! If it’s on your mind right now, you can just say so. And actually – even IF it’s “unimportant” by whatever measure. Be you as fully as you can 🩵

@Fragglemuppet@fandom.ink What a lovely invitation! Well, I am going to write much more about it here as soon as I’m done with the ongoing house move, but I am writing in the tiniest fandom so it’s always nice to know somebody might be interested in that. The original work is a webcomic called The Witch Door, it’s a sort of urban fantasy setting where everything is mostly ‘normal’, but there are witches, and they have special doors.

This webcomic is ongoing, but the author created a little spinoff about one of the main characters (Jousia) and a side character, and this just grabbed me and made me write. I have written ~90k words so far and the last chapter of part 1 will be online sometime next week. I have exactly one reader and now they’ve offered to beta read for me, which I would love, but that kind of leaves me with no readers. 🤷

Anyways, the story is about Jousia and Jesse and explores their developing relationship. They’re both witches, Jousia is canonically aroace and generally disinterested in those kinds of relationships, and Jesse is a gay mess and has been in love with him for years.

Part 1 as I said is nearly completely online, that’s mostly fun and fluff, and I am hugely excited for part 2 which has actual plot, noticeable in the form of cliffhanger endings for the first ten chapters or so. 😁

All of it is dialogue heavy and about people and relationships and life, because that’s how I roll. If anybody wants to ask me questions I would be thrilled to answer them! And I have one small question to you especially @Fragglemuppet@fandom.ink – I reckon webcomics are no fun at all when you’re blind. Would it be a good idea for me to write a synopsis of the comic? I think I might do it anyway, for people who don’t want to read the comic but my fanfic for some reason. (My one reader started with my story and then read the comic, they say it’s good on its own but I personally think you’re missing out on all my little references.)

    Okay so, have some links:
