I learned today that the people of Reddit really don’t think for themselves. They take a headline at face value and assume it must be absolute. Oh and they really fucking hate that #slackware users have managed to keep #gnome running but their favorite distro can’t. 😬

@HauntedOwlbear Years ago, I used to sleep with headphones on a lot to drown out the world. And I swear by using a low volume play of Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon (skipping Time). I dunno if you get down with that music, but it always put me into a trance and calmed me and I would actually drift off to sleep. Maybe something soothing in your ears would be the magic needed.

Hi, my name is Jay, but the internet has always called me r0ni. I’m from the golden age of the web and I still pretend I live there. In a former life I covered emulation news (late 90s), then I withdrew from Web 2.0 and continued to love the great things from then. Slackware & console emulation are my the things that keep me up at night. I live in a home with 2 dogs & a cat, my son (the only one left of 4), and my SO. Waiting for the end of the world.
