@bruh_momento @mischievoustomato@tsundere.love I'm about as anti-Wayland as someone can be... well, maybe not quite. I do think it has a lot of work to do; things were pretty unusable when I last gave it a try. Especially when it came to application scaling. I'll actively try to hold off on using it until the very end. Every little trick or solution to keep X11, I'll probably use it, at least until I find Wayland's experience to be on par for my use case.

That said...I quit using Linux years ago. If I'm going to be forced to take a reaming, might as well have an OS that works.I'm going to assume you use either Mac or BSD, because "OS that works" if referring to Windows, just does not compute with me. Especially if referring to the latest dumpster fire that is Windows 11. Admittedly everything I have heard about Win11 is from other people, but I've basically heard nothing but complaints.

Obviously, if it works for you, that's great! I'm not going to shit on you based on the OS you choose to use on your machine. lol, that'd be silly.
This is more just me saying that I , as someone who finds the process of using Windows akin to that of pulling teeth, don't personally relate to that statement.

All things genuine (and a slight side-tangent), I think people are much too butthurt about what other people use or how other people consume media, or just anything like that. Objectively, more formats/platforms/devices/etc, which allow more people to enjoy things in a way that makes them comfortable, are an overall positive in my book.
