I can't understate how important this movie had been in my life.

We talk of a time long before streaming.
Watching a movie was at the theater only.
Then you waited a year for the VHS release.

My parents had to take me to the theater 11 times.
Eleven. Times.

My family thought I was in love with Bowie but the truth was that I was a trans kid with 0 trans representation around to help me to... well, just survive.

Henson and Bowie's Goblin King just made me feel like less of a freak.
