It had David Bowie as the Goblin King, magic, a cute baby, an even cuter worm, a grumpy goblin with a soft heart on the inside, a friendly, rock-summoning gigantic beast, a talking Fox Terrier knight who used a non-talking Old English Sheepdog as his steed, friendship, second chances, and found family.
