It's not a blind spot. I see women supporting GI.

But I also see that academic "feminism" was captured, just like the government, just like the medical establishment. I've come to think the capture of "feminism" and the immense pressure placed on women to conform to it - which drastically outweighs the social pressure that men experience - was necessary in a part for the predatory industry to become normalized.

And women who support GI are not the main drivers of it. The demand for GI - which is an industry - comes largely from pornography, WPATH, and the APA.

"Gender dysphoria" relies on a notion of "gendered essences".

It's a political term created by sexologists that destigmatizes predatory male fetishes by labeling them a pitiable medical condition.

I have come to believe this is not an accident, but was done deliberately.

"Gender dysphoria" is a sex-neutral term which incorporates a variety of conditions - including body dysmorphia among girls - to provide cover for male fetishism.

A belief in "gender dysphoria" does endorse the notion of "gendered essences," and more specifically that a woman can be reduced to a feeling in a man's head, though limited to special, subjective circumstances which can't be measured.

Body dysmorphic disorders do exist, but they are overwhelmingly diagnosed in young women and girls.

In the same vein, paraphilias are overwhelmingly a male phenomenon.

When I see the term "gender dysphoria" I can't help but think of how John Money used the term "gender" to refer to sexual positions, advising that children be shown pornography to help them develop their gender identity.

Feminism did not create gender identity ideology. Sexologists did, and they did so in the 1960's, at US universities. The first gender clinics were founded at universities in California and Minnesota.

Then, the ideology took over the nascent Women's Studies programs.

This cult has targeted women for decades, and morphed into what we see now, which is seeking, and granted access to, children.

It was necessary to groom women first, because women stand in the way of predators and children.
