@bruces I am sadly one of those people who desperately need this. Not because of any AI prompt silliness, but because I'm cursed with perpetual outside voice.

@evacide A latke is primarily a vessle for eating onions. Any adjacent hashbrown-like has no claim on latka if it isn't at least 30% onion.
We are of the atheistic cultural jews, so our preferred method is latka/sour cream/scrapple/apple butter combo for breakfast. With sour cream and applesauce for lunch. And with porkchops for dinner....because keeping kosher was a good rule of thumb before we understood germ theory.

@bruces Our brains are analog after all.
Looking through the history of analog computing, it looks like it *does* have some potential advantages. Can it compete with the decades of advances in digital computing in the short term? Probably not. But it's probably worthwhile to study, as many fledgling innovations from past die prematurely ecause the competing technology of the time was able to be made cheaper and wiped out development.
Just look at what is happening with EVs.

Getting a used EV (provided you have a spot to charge and don't need massive range) negates a lot of the footprint problems. Both are sunk costs environmentally, but at least retiring the old civic will reduce ongoing demand.
That said, ditching car entirely if possible is the correct answer.
