#Amazon has started creating auto-generated #AI reviews. The review for my @scarfolk book says that it's "full of fun, fascinating articles for children".

Would that be the book that I designed around cult brainwashing techniques and contains images of dead & disfigured kids?

I just completed the German #Duolingo course, and I still can't understand a word anyone says, nor can I form a decent, rudimentary, error-free sentence. Duolingo's good for passive knowledge acquisition but useless for active.

You see those adverts on TV. "If you're over 50, you could be eligible for..."
I'm 53 and I still think of these ads as being aimed at my parents or grandparents.

I've an obsession with #film poster painting style from the 1960s/70s, but never really thought to try it myself. I decided to reimagine Fahrenheit 451 as I was listening to Herrmann's score. Quite pleased! Could become a new hobby (or maybe even take commissions!)

The upshot was that my appt. was needlessly longer because: a) Standard human dental checkup b) Compare results against #AI c) Human re-check to investigate AI results d) Confirm that AI results were bollocks e) Discussion about AI being bollocks and dangerous.
Everything after A was unnecessary

Just got back from my dentist. Her boss has introduced #AI into the clinic. It claims to automatically detect many conditions and right away it found 4 issues affecting my teeth.

The only downside was that its findings were 100% wrong, which my dentist of many years' experience spotted immediately.
