Israeli human rights org @btselem concludes Israel is committing war crime of starvation in Gaza.

“Based on various reports from international bodies about the situation in Gaza and on testimonies gathered by B'Tselem's field researchers, we unfortunately conclude that for months, Israel has been committing the crime of starvation under international law in the Gaza Strip.”

THIS is what university students are rightly protesting.

My sincere ask of young people peacefully protesting at their college campuses—let this be a continuation of your activism. Don't let it end with your graduation or when these protests end. Let this ignite you to vote, organize, & run for office.

USC went from cancelling their valedictorian’s commencement speech on a made up claim of safety, to canceling all commencement speakers, to canceling commencement altogether—all to prevent the student USC educated on genocide studies from applying her USC education at USC.😑

What a complete failure in leadership.

In Gaza all 12 universities & 356 schools have been destroyed or damaged, 5K students & 250 teachers have been killed, & 625K students haven't attended school in 6 months—but the politicians enabling this atrocity instead condemn Jewish & Muslim students for standing united for justice for Gaza.

These students are not antisemitic, & the anonymous provocateurs spewing antisemitic bile must be condemned. Do not let such bigots eclipse the noble cause for justice our young people are exemplifying.

It is critical we stand united—Muslims, Jews, Christians, Sikhs, people of all faith & no faith—against all antisemitism, Islamophobia, & xenophobia.

If we do not stand united against hate, we risk allowing right wing extremists to drive both the media narrative, & also the policy narrative.

That will harm Jews, Muslims, & every minority group in America.

We must uphold justice above all else. That is the path to peace.

According to the ADL, since 2002, the Right has been responsible for an incredible, a horrifying, a sickening 100% of antisemitic hate crimes—totaling at least 3058 antisemitic hate crimes.😳

And it's getting worse. But to quickly recap—per ADL, perpetrators of antisemitic hate crimes in USA since 2002 are:
•0% Muslim
•0% Leftist
•100% Right Wing

While media is demonizing Muslims & the left as "antisemitic," I looked up the ADL data on antisemitic hate crimes. ADL data goes back to 2002.

If you had to guess what % of antisemitic hate crimes were from Muslims vs Leftists vs Right, what would you guess?

Let's start with antisemitic hate crimes by Muslims or "Islamists" as the ADL calls them.

Would you believe that since 2002, ADL records exactly 0 antisemitic hate crimes by Muslims.

ZERO.

So what about leftists?

A mass grave with 283 Palestinian bodies were found at Nasser Hospital today.

A mass bombing killed at least 14 Palestinian children yesterday.

Columbia faculty is standing in solidarity with Palestinian & Jewish students who oppose the above war crimes.

And legacy media is largely ignoring it.

Do not stay silent. Continue to raise your voices for justice and accountability.

Columbia today: We arrested 100s of peaceful pro-Palestine protestors. This has nothing to do with free speech!

Columbia yesterday: We welcome violent pro-Nazi & anti-Muslim speakers. Free speech is sacred on our campus!

Sad decision from USC.

A Muslim woman who minored in resistance to genocide is the USC Class of 2024 valedictorian — and USC is BANNING her from speaking at Commencement.😐

This isn't self-defense. This isn't a counter to Hamas. This is de facto violation of international law.

Would love for someone to explain how this is any different than Russia forcibly taking Ukrainian land?

The path to peace is comprehensive and includes ALL of at least the following:

Immediate ceasefire
Release all Israeli hostages
Release Palestinian children in Israeli prisons
Prosecute all war crimes
End the military occupation
End the illegal settlements
End the blockade
Reject antisemitism
Reject anti-Arab hate
Uphold int’l human rights law
