I've seen it with my own eyes, in the '70's, & in the 2000's.
What's has happened in the Middle East since 1953 Iranian coup d'état Overthrow of Prime Minister Mohammad Mosaddegh, to the first $25 million given to the Mujahideen by Jimmy Carter, to the $250 million & Stinger Missiles by Ronny Raygun, to the unwarranted WMD G.W. Bush invasion & occupation the region has been FUBAR'd.
The ememy is us, not states, but humans. We're horrible.

I wouldn’t underestimate student protesters like myself the system has been grinding all of our futures to destabilization.
Honestly we don’t know the future but I imagine my peers and I might be able to achieve goals that go above and beyond electoral politics or voting in the next war criminal -oops I mean president- into office
But if we don’t have a revolutionary imagination we will never be free
