I get all the wishy-washy ‘it depends’ scenarios I need from the nightly news and IPCC reports. I don’t need it from content marketing, too, which from now on will only ever demonstrate a complete lack of (or indifference to) grasping the notions of degrowth and permacomputing.

Sweet, sweet irony there always is as we soft shoe towards the precipice.

Ultimately I care not what you do, but I hold a certain standard to anyone taking an anti-centralized social media stance, whatever their agenda. If people are going to play the card, they open the door to some alternate reflection. I’m sure you can appreciate that, at least. TIOLI.

I left the fowl site near five years ago (and the FB account I never used, and Google everything, and LinkedIn, and dozens of other shite accounts from the silly-con valley surveillance era). It was a train wreck in progress. Now was inevitable. The political debacle of 2016 was the last push I needed. I never looked back, and I’ve been happy about that small ecological contribution to the planet.

So I agree. But, man, delete that fowl link in your profile if you’re gonna preach. :)

Images seem to be down for me on the instance (avatars, profile pics, photos people share, ...). I'm sure it's just a growing pain, but thought I'd mention it due to the recent upgrade.

This seems to be on desktop only. iOS does not have the same problem. Both are the web-based UI.
