More free wood chip. The primary school down the road were having all their hawthorn trees chopped back. I asked the tree surgeons if they could drop it off on the driveway and they were only too happy to do so.
@Badgardener It looks all kinds of wonderful. I love the tree echiums. I’m sure the various additions the chickens have insisted on since have added just as much in interest than they have scratched and eaten away.
This is the old London road from Oxford at the top of Shotover Hill. The first coach started out on the route in 1669. Passengers had to get out of laden stagecoaches and walk up the steep Shotover hill to spare the horses.
Highwaymen were rampant on this route outside Oxford in the 18th Century.
@aral Sorry to hear. Pet Classics on Classic FM are my go to dog relaxer. I have recordings from the last couple of years and it works a treat on my dog.
We will have fireworks going off most nights from now until early January.
This year Classic FM’s Pet Classics are on November 2nd 6.30 pm and November 5th 6.30 pm.
