The US has a cancer rate of 352 cases per 100,000 of its population. And of course, that has nothing to do with the fact that the US detonated 928 nuclear bombs above ground, in Nevada... /s
@br00t4c Electric cars can not and do not represent a sustainable future. At best, they could be a stop-gap solution for countries that did not have the vision to build clean, safe, cheap, ecologically sound public transport. Here's the rush hour in Edinburgh, a busy capital city.
The passivity and apathy of Americans never fail to amaze me. What are considered to be radical actions in the US are just long-established parts of everyday life in other countries.
@br00t4c Until the USA stops raising birds in filthy conditions that inevitably cause disease in the birds, this will not go away. Simply dipping diseased birds in a chlorine bath for a few seconds is the cause of the problem.
The rich old white men didn't connect with the electorate in any meaningful way, and Harris was torpedoed by Biden's absurd plan to thand in the election followed by his handing of the Poisoned Chalice to Her as the party threw him out of the airlock, completely blew their chances. Without the harm done by Biden, I think she could have won. But the "Commander in Chief" is bravely fighting the dancing girls of TikTok. What a guy.
Both parties were chosen by, and are beholden to the ruling oligarchy. Overall, the trend over the last fifty years has been toward the reduction of freedoms irrespective of which party was in power. Underneath the claimed differences, they share a common agenda of seeking more power, more wealth, and more control.
How are you planning to fight for "real freedom?" When?
Routinely blocked by Americans who don't understand my posts and believe that voting for the Fat Man or Kamala will fix everything.I have a strong interest in the absence of things and things that will never exist.
