I used to remember a #FreeBSD application as an alternative to mtr, but I forgot it name.

I have been renting a VPS with 2 vcpu and 2Gb of RAM. The default OS is Ubuntu 24.04.

When I checking the system info using top/htop, it is specified that the total RAM capacity of my VPS is 2GB. But when I switched to #openBSD htop show me that my total RAM is 1Gb.

the dmesg says "irtio0 at pci0 dev 3 function 0 "Qumranet Virtio Memory Balloon" rev 0x00"

what exactly is this Balloon?

Installing #FreeBSD 14.1 using mfsBSD in Debian Linux is easy.
The hard part only setup the network and serial connection to xtermjs.

next, install #OpenBSD (overwrite FreeBSD installation). 😂

trying to install #FreeBSD in Linux based VPS (KVM) with no avail to activate internet.

I have set IP using manual static IP

`# ifconfig vtnet0 inet 103.45.54.45 netmask 255.255.255.0`
`# sysrc defaultrouter="103.45.54.1"`

`# service netif restart & service routing restart`

the result is still no internet connection. I don't know what to do. 😭
