a weird thing i've noticed is that a lot of "car-brained" people seem to assume that infrastructure is this sort of zero-sum thing?

meanwhile if you actually do want to keep driving a car, you should be in support of more public transit and cycling paths, as those will reduce the amount of other cars on the road, therefore allowing you to have a nicer driving experience
