@authen the dataset is all 40k worm pink posts i have so most of it is you probably

generating an embedding for a bunch of posts in my database (all worm.pink) as well as a query then showing hte posts with an embedding closest to the query so cool you can see how none of the words in the query match the post

@authen cloudflare probably uses google cloud for some things or people are reporting cloudflare as being down because its usually their fault

google rarely ever has outages is this what happens when you lay off half of your employees

so this is a google cloud outage rihgt thats the only one that makes sense

@nyanide also yeah for some reason mastodon is the only implementation that supports changes of preferredUsername i know misskey doesn't and pleroma im pretty sure doesn't either

@nyanide mastodon would recieve the new username but the ap id in the database wouldn't change so it'd be getting objects with a completely different actor id and wouldn't know what user to associate them with

@nyanide unless he had something in nginx that actually modified the response body, even then, outgoing federations don't go through the proxy so this wouldn't work

@nyanide i just can't help to think all he did was make the original actor id path point to the new one in nginx

but pleroma was no longer serving objects that included the original actor id
