using an old mac keyboard (the one that came with my powermac g4, so like 2001-ish vintage) is weird
i find myself using it more like a typewriter than a normal keyboard because the keys are so mushy it requires a full force SMACK to make sure it registers properly

so we're back on netgear for a bit

does anyone have advice on how to make stuff for an ancient embedded linux system. if i want to get my own gui application running. it's a full system, it's got wayland, glibc, bunch of libraries, but they're all so old i can't do anything with them
should i make a chroot environment? just copy modern libraries in and name them separately? can i compile for the old system from my modern one?

baloo and akonadi are so cool in theory but then kinda suck ass in practice

minecraft in the 1.6 days and prior was so fuck. forge would just load any random ass zipfile and people did deliver mods this way. random mods would do signature checks on other mods and just hard crash the game if they didn't like the taste of it.

osmand bugs are the best thing ever. sometimes you refocus it while navigating and your position icon jumps 500 feet into the air, all the map layers strobe on and off randomly for a few seconds, and then it just goes back to normal
it looks like some shit a movie would do to show being hacked but it's just the map having a stroke for fun
